Works as advertised, but requires patience.

I had an SD card suddenly become unreadable by my camera and my computer while there were still pictures that needed to be saved. After reading so many reviews about not seeing any drives show up I was concerned I would have the same issue. When I first launched the app it seemed I did, in fact, have that issue; however I ended up letting it stay open in the background while I looked for other options and when I happened to switch back to it I suddenly had drives listed. From there it was relatively quick to scan the card and recover the photos.

Bottom line: This app worked for me but should have had some bit of UI to indicate it was scanning for disks (that seems like the only reasonable explination for the delay) so as not to appear non-functional.
